The Oyster’s Locale exhibition

The Oyster’s Locale opens this Sunday at the Mill Providore & Gallery in Launceston. Margaret and I are presenting the latest incarnation of the way life should be. It’s a great show including artists; Christl Berg, Vivienne Binns, Sonja Brough, Josh Foley, Pat Hoffie, Jamin, Denise Ava Robinson, Justy Phillips/Margaret Wooward, and TJ Phillipson, curated by Fernando do Campo. The exhibition dates are: 25 Aug-3 Oct 2010, Opening Sunday 29th of August @ 2:30pm. This project is coordinated by Artsalive Inc. and hosted by the Mill Providore & Gallery, Launceston.

Margaret Woodward presents at Sydney Biennale PK Night

Superdeluxe are hosting weekly Pecha-Kucha nights at Artspace as part of the Sydney Biennale. Margaret Woodward has been invited to present our newest project The way life should be. this Thursday 17th June. If you’re in town, get down to Artspace, 43/51 Cowper Wharf Rd, Woolloomooloo…it’s going to be a big night.

Pecha Kucha Wagga Wagga

Related Projects has found a formidable team to launch Pecha Kucha in Wagga Wagga in 2010. We are really excited to use this opportunity to find the odd, outrageous, kooky, inspirational minds of the Riverina and present them to you. Will keep you posted in the next couple of months. Our first Pecha Kucha will happen in March 2010 at the Museum of the Riverina Historic Council Chambers.

Justy Phillips has an upcoming show at Sydney’s Firstdraft Gallery in July 2009. ‘Magnificent’ opens on Wednesday 22nd July and closes on Saturday 8th July. The exhibition will feature special edition copies of magnificent 01, video work ‘flinted arrows’ and Limited Edition works. Drop in if you’re in the area.
